
Ashville was instructed by Rainbow Office Investments to strategically plan and manage the refurbishment of the 200,000 sq ft Strand Island site within the Covent Garden conservation area.
Following acquisition, a comprehensive programme was undertaken to carry out essential repair and refurbishment works including the stone cleaning and careful restoration of the ornate terracotta stone elevations. The development and the reconfiguration of the existing buildings created a mix of prime retail, office and leisure space.
Ashville implemented and oversaw the marketing of the vacant space and were successful in negotiating and securing lettings to major organisations including Whitbread, Dixons, William Hill and De La Rue. The investment was then sold on behalf of the landlord.
